My name is Karolina Sikala.In this post I am going to write shortly about myself and my working experience. For the past 7 years, I have been a teacher. Since
June 2017, I am working as international coordinator at Jordbrugets UddalelsesCentre,
Aarhus (JU). My main task is to apply for money from EU funds, and preparing
students for their 3 weeks internship abroad. Preparation time is 20 lessons.
During that short time, the students must make different tasks (learning Unit,
CV, language test, presentation about the country they are going to, budget,
find the place to stay, book the fly ticket). My role as a teacher/coordinator
is to facilitate the students all the way through. Annually, I
am sending abroad two groups, in each group around 20 students.
In my teaching I use some IT, but I would like to make it more digitalise in order to make my work and my students easier and more effective.
Next week I am going to have a new group of students. I will start my lesson with padlet to introduce student to each others. I hope this tool will activate all students and they will be more open.
